There are a lot of people that are retired, are about to retire or who want to give up the 9 - 5 and live free by working remote on the open road. We've interviewed many Full Time RVers and came up with a list of some of the top reasons why people prefer living in an RV over a traditional house.

    1. Freedom

What type of life do you want to live? What history do you want to experience? If you could go anywhere in the country, where would you go? With RVing you have the ultimate freedom to live where and how you want.Do you use a Gopro to document your travels

    2. Time in Nature

RVing often puts you in scenic spots in nature. This doesn't always have to be in the middle of nowhere. Sometimes nature is just outside of a busy city but an RV Park can offer fantastic nature activities. The Hills of Hollister, CA are a great place for an RV Adventure

    3. No Lawn to Mow

The joys of doing lawn work are endless....wait, no they aren't. Wouldn't you rather be relaxing under your awning with a cold drink overlooking the mountains? It's easy to spend so much time maintaining your lawn that you don't have much time to enjoy it. RV Parks have people to do all the yard work for you! It's like having your own gardener, without having to cut them a check. Unless you are like the guy in the picture below who brings his lawn mower with him, you don't have to worry about it!This guy travels with his Lawn Moer in his RV

    4. Choose Your Own Weather

Have you heard of the term "Snowbirds"? If you enjoy the warmth of Florida in the winter, you can "move" there. If you want to escape the heat of the Florida heat, you can move up north. Conversely, if you enjoy the snow you can RV there as well.St Pete (31)

    5. Adventure

Are you adventurous? Do you enjoy extreme sports, surfing or climbing? RVing puts you in positions to seek out any type of adventure that you crave. Many people choose to bring their toys with in their Toy Haulers.santa cruz surfing2

    6. Choose Your Neighbors

    7. Less to Clean

Sick of housework? In an RV what might take you half a day you could get done in 30 minutes.DSC_0005

    8. Wildlife

Everywhere has wildlife. But after a certain amount of time you might get bored seeking out the same types of wildlife. When you travel in an RV you are constantly seeing new and unique wildlife.DSC_0035_tonemapped

    9. Have a Pool

Many people have houses in areas where it just doesn't make sense to have a pool. It might not be in the budget as they are costly. However many RV Resorts have heated pools for you to enjoy at your leisure. Often nicer than most residential pools.DSC_0011_tonemapped

    10. Lake Front Property

Have you ever wanted to live on a lake? Lake front property can be costly with extensive upkeep. When you live in an RV there are countless RV Parks with prime lake front spots with million dollar views.
